In 3 hours and now 48 minutes I start my MA in Visual Arts Digital Arts!!!!! Woooohoo.
Just a bit nervous... Luckily I have some really damn tasty home made pizza to sort me out before i head off! (Thanks Luke!)

As part of the course I am acctually required to keep a blog so I'll have to step up my game!

Lightrooming

I just got a hold of Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 2, and i'm having way too much fun with it! I'm kind of guessing my way around it and making some awfully over edited photos but i think once ive calmed down a bit ill make good use of it!

I am newspapergirl.

It turns out my local newspaper has nothing better to write about but me, aww bless it. I'm honoured really, just getting a bit bored of the madonna thing when the haugar thing is like 10 times more awesome!

Ive done fuck all lately, been working 50 hours a week in the shop and my hatred for london busses forced me to walk to work during the strike, 6 hours walking 18 hours standing in two days, someone should wright about that... (someone just did). Its ok tho, soon ill get lots of time off and get to do some drawing and possibly even some new work done. My stupid friend Claudiu has said yes to help me shoot some new pics with his sexy new toy; the (The) Canon 5d (im so jealouse) and I'm about to start another sketchbook, i think ive been threw about 8 or 9 since i left uni...

Also, wanted to throw some randome links out there for whoever cares: I wouldnt be able to do anything without places like notcot and ffffound!
And I would be very bored without people like Soph, Neil, Bon and Linds!

Spent a few hours drawing at work as it was dead, no one goes out on bank holiday Monday in Kensington. My boss should know this by now, but my time at work was well spent...

Sketchbook adventures and other nonsense

So im not really sure what to do with this thing so i figured id just start with some random shit i drew in my sketchbook today. I haven't really made much new work this last year but ive filled something like 7 sketchbooks... i get a bit ocd with my drawing, and i think i have drawn a good 200 pigs today. Woop.

So yeah, this is just a random twirl, i draw twirls alot...

Im not really sure what this is, or if i like it or not...


I have pigs on my mind lately (don't we all), i kinda feel like calling it Pigfluenza but Sophie objected to it...
